Qualifications for Nomination

to the

AMNG

Shooter's Hall of Fame:

Must have been a shooter, coach, gunsmith or administrator within the National Guard Shooting Program.

Not only one of the above, but must have significantly contributed to the National Guard Shooting Program while a member of the National Guard

Attained significant success and distinguished himself/herself through personal accomplishments while a member of the National Guard

Provided a positive image of the National Guard and their personal actions reflected favorably upon the National Guard

NOTE:  Accomplishments while not a member of the National Guard must not be considered in this nomination process. (Example: a shooter who achieved considerable success while a member of an active military unit, a member of another reserve component or as a civilian, but who did not build on that success while a member of the National Guard).

Individuals who have been nominated before but not selected can be re-nominated.

The deadline for nominations is 15 August each year.  Nominations will be reviewed and voted upon by the selection committee members and will be announced at the meeting of the Association in October.
